Icon Proves to be Ideal Example of Precon Partnership

Our firm’s Founding Partner, Brett Rhode, recently joined Matt Tumminia, a Project Executive at Hoar Construction, to discuss the vital role of strong preconstruction partnerships and strategy for Icon, a new student housing tower in UT Austin's West Campus neighborhood.

Thanks to a meticulous preconstruction process, the project has achieved minimal RFIs and adhered to a strict schedule for the 300-foot tower on a tightly constrained site.

When completed for the Fall 2025 semester, Icon will become one of the tallest towers in West Campus, anchoring the corner of West 22nd Street and San Antonio Street.
